ColdFusion/Flex Developer needed in the UKGENERAL SUMMARY:We are looking for an experienced ColdFusion/Flex developer to work with a small team of developers in the design, development and maintenance of various ColdFusion/Flex driven websites.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides ColdFusion/Flex application development and technical support for internal and external websites in support of the US Battlespace Information Collection & Exploitation Systems (USBICES) program. Maintains and continually develops web environment in conjunction with customer requirements. Will assist web team in delivering the user a customizable, dynamically-driven intelligence environment in support of theater operations. Design, develop, code, and document robust ColdFusion/Flex based production and dissemination environment(s) for various military customers as necessary to support operations and exercises in a secured network environment. Prepares functional specifications programs and then designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs. Participates in the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of website enhancements. Plans, schedules and conducts systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action. May prepare technical user guides. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Participates in special projects as required.
CLEARANCE:Must hold/maintain/transfer a DoD Secret (or higher) security clearance. We will sponsor your Secret Clearance if required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and/or 3-5 years experience as a ColdFusion developer. ColdFusion certified applicants are given preferential consideration.
TRAVEL:15% Travel Required (Europe Only)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Requires 3 or more years of full time development experience using ColdFusion MX 6.1 and above, MS SQL Server, CSS, Javascript, and XML. Also desirable is experience in one or more of the following: Flex, Ajax, Flash, RSS, Web Services. Ability to work well and integrate into a small team environment is critical. Samples of work and/or URLs to be requested upon interview.
